Why I Draw Food

I make art about the little moments that often go unnoticed but carry huge emotional weight. A warm croissant on a lonely morning. A martini shared between friends after a hard week. Ice cream eaten straight from the carton after a breakup. These are small rituals, but they are deeply human—and they deserve to be honored with beauty and intention.

My work focuses on food and beverage illustration because these are the universal languages of connection. We all eat, we all drink. But in our fast-paced lives, we rarely pause to savor the emotion in these simple acts. I want my art to be that pause. That moment where you remember the laughter over coffee, the childhood memory attached to a slice of birthday cake, or the comfort of a perfectly made drink.

I work digitally in Procreate and Photoshop, using painterly techniques to give digital art a tactile, handmade quality. My style is whimsical and elegant, often infused with clever titles or visual puns—because I believe joy and humor are essential ingredients in any good recipe, including art.

My pieces are available as wall art prints and are also licensed for various uses—from product packaging to editorial features. I’m especially interested in collaborating with food, beverage, and hospitality brands who share my love for storytelling and sensory design.

Ultimately, I see my work as an invitation: to slow down, to connect, and to celebrate the delicious beauty in our daily lives. Food is memory. Drinks are conversation. And art is what makes it all last.

If my work helps someone feel a little more grounded, a little more seen, or a little more joyful—then I’ve done my job. And if it makes you smile? Even better. Let's make the everyday unforgettable.
